You did a good job. But you used the Baldomir fight as your model for Floyd. That's the only time he wore pink gloves/shorts. For breast cancer awareness.

According to the word going around Las Vegas, Mayweather has finally signed off on the deal. The fight will take place on July 18 at the MGM Grand. [details]

Apparently Marquez has got a shortlist of 6 costumes to wear for his ring entrance.

Leave it to Mayweather to pull an Alex Rodriguez and try and steal the spotlight from Hatton-Pacquiao with an announcement. I hope Marquez decks him.

...greatsest of all time...P4P champ??? All those ww challenges, and this punk fights a featherweight. Disgusting. Some fighters tarnish their legacy with late-career losses...this idiot is doing it with late-career WINS! If this doesn't wake up the Gayweather huggers, nothing ever will. (Kinda like the same psychosis surrounding *****)

This is a perfect example of the Mayweather Pattern that turns me off as a fan. Can anyone imagine if Calzague decides to come out of retirement to challenge Cotto or Mosley. All of us would be like "what da ***".... Here is Mayweather challenging an aging smaller man for the P4P title. He could have challenged Cotto, Mosley, Williams or any other of the 147/54 champions... but no he goes and challenges the newly crown 135 pounder at a catch weight of 145...... please!

In the other hand... I undesetand that JMM wants to catch out with a big payday... and he deserves it. Let us see if the Mexican has enough in the tank to make it competitive.... I'll put him as a 3-1 underdog.

Great Move mayweather... from the Roy Jones books you got yourself the biggest payday with the least risk.

Really? find it funny that people have a problem fwith Floyd Marquez when 1. noone had a problem when floyd was ouutweighed by Baldomir and Oscar by 16 pounds, 2. Floyd started his career four pounds heavier than marquez did, its not his fought that Marquez chose to stay at the lower weight lower, don't blame floyd for his lack of ambition. 3. Marquez called Floyd out just like hatton did and they got fights, 4. When Floyd wanted Mosley for years he was denied ( don't forget the whole my toot hurts when floyd wanted to fight shane). FCK Shane he had his shot. Marquez has a chance against Floyd he has beaten Casamayor, tcrafty vet, Juan Diaz young gun, and mosgt believe he won the second Pacman fight. he is more deserving than anyone and has a better chance at beating floyd because floyd hasn't fought in over a year and his timing is everything. without a tuneup? this is not a risk free test. so to say it is ******, Floyd was never a welterweight, he would weigh 146 on the day of the fight thats a jr welterweight in a welterweights body, Manny started his career at 115 and he is fighting Hatton, why is no one clowning Ricky? double standard anyone? Hmm
