That said, Marquez called him out and signed the contract. He deserves that big payday, regardless of the outcome of the fight. I'm glad he took it, and I see a competitive fight if Marquez's age and body can bring his speed and power to that weight.
That is the main problem. PBF will mop the canvas with JMM.

Good post, but theres really nothing anyone can say to stubburn people that would much rather die then see the truth. People will convince themselves and even lie if they have to. What they're doing is really just affecting themself and state of whats true and whats not. Clouding their mind to a point where they will forever live in denial.

If he wins he is a legend and #1 P4P, if he loses...oh well, he was supposed to lose, right? but he is richer.
          exactly.
          be happy for jmm

Marquez is not going to get knocked out, he's too good of boxer for that. Mayweather is going to win this fight, period! But....

            Marquez has a chance!

            1. Mayweather is coming off of a 2 year layoff
            2. Mayweather is looking at this as a tune-up fight, so he might underestimate him
            3. Im praying to God marquez wins!

                Pacquiao fought at 147

If marquez has the confidence, who are we to say he can't?
Pacquiao actually fought at 142 for the DLH fight. If this fight is at 143-144 like they say it is, Marquez would be fighting heavier than Manny ever did.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., the welterweight champ and pound-for-pound king until retiring last June, ended his retirement on Saturday afternoon and announced he will fight Juan Manuel Marquez in July.

Rafael says it's gonna be at 144.

Who cares. Marquez is naturally bigger than Pacquiao(whom began as a Fly not Feather).
