I'll surprised if he isn't more than 150.

wow thats about 10 to 12 pounds of water when he hydrates back up....how many gallons of water is that? in which he will just sweat back out and become dehydrated again.

does anyone of you really know for sure how do fighters gain more that 10lbs in just one day? I did eat too much for hours the whole day but it only got me 3lbs!

Well they dehydrate themselves and dont really eat the day before/through the weigh in....so when for example hatton hits 140...hes dehydrated and hungry at that time....so as soon as he rehydrates himself and eats...he will put on 10 or so lbs

Im sure thats how it is anyway

so it means a naturally hydrated human can't gain up to 10lbs overnight even if he eats all day?

Basicly....the fighters dont weight 140 and all of a sudden get huge........they have to dehydrate themselves in order to hit the weight...for example naturally hatton weights 152-154 (just a rough guess) so when weigh in comes...the reason people miss the weight and stuff is because they judged it wrong...they have to know how much weight they lose when they dehydrate themselves and dont eat in order to hit the weight...

So basicly a person if they are eating normally and drinking normally...couldnt just all of a sudden stuff their face and drink lots of water and put on 10lbs....because they would puke it all back up, they would be overhydrated and to full to fight........but if they come to the weigh in dehydrated and hungry....they can make the weight and then rehydrate themselves and eat again to put on all those extra pounds.

They don't usually walk around at the weight limit, they dehyrate to reach the weight limit then rehydrate before the fight to gain advantage. there isn't many fighters who genuinely fight at their natural weight. the boil down to gain advanatges.
