Hatton is going to counterpunch Manny, good idea?

He said it himself after the weigh-in when interviewed by Lopez. He said he plans on counter punching Manny as Marquez did when Manny goes in. Think he's going to have success with that?

If you're gonna wait for your opponent to lead so you can time and counter him, you need to have quicker hands. If Hatton tries to counterpunch, he's gettin KTFO quickly.

Hatton's going to make Manny take a shot by feinting.

          effin kidding me?

floyd sr: i'm not going to change hatton's style.

OK. so let's now counter-punch instead of stick to the style that's lead us to as many wins as i've had. -_-

JMM didn't have quicker hands than Pac. You have to anticipate and you can shuffle back a bit against a guy like Pac because he lunges forward, be thrown off balance, and his power will be diminished.

            But can Hatton do this?
            Not sure.

He'll have to adapt to see what works in the fight. As long as he keeps a tight defense, he can adjust quickly.

He'll do it for a round like he did with paulie, but then like in that fight he'll realize hes not that effective and revert back to his old ways. Then he'll start eating left hands like he's got the beer munchies.

hell no. JMM is a superior counter puncher, thats why he was able to do it. Hatton is not that type of fighter. he may try it but i dont think it will work

How do you counter an 8 punch combo?
