ricky's the champ and #1 at 140.

that said......i like manny's chances against ricky better compared to guys like bradley and holt.

ricky doesn't have much of a height advantage if any and his reach is shorter. his style is a good matchup for manny as well. he comes straight in and lunges in with wide punches with a short reach.

I'd say he'll put on no more than 6lbs between now and fight night. Not saying it'll make too much of a difference, just pointing out a real JWW will have a size and strength advantage over Manny every time..

I would bet that Pacquiao is comfortable at JWW. His walk-around weight is approx. 155. On one hand, he doesn't need to spend as much time shedding weight, so priority can be given to sharpening up his skills. He can eat well and keep his energy levels up. That might not be a bad thing for any fighter -- most of them hate having to starve.

On the other hand, he will probably be out-weighed by maybe 5 pounds or so upon entering he ring. Looking strictly at his performance against Oscar -- ignore the fact that Oscar was not at his best -- he was very fast and sharp after re-hydrating from 142 to 148.
