first of all, cotto already has a fight....

second of all, there has NEVER been any ongoing discussion between mayweather or cotto for a fight.

third of all, cotto has NEVER called floyd out by name...."i fights whoever my people tell me to fight."

i know cotto has a fight, but when the oportunity arose in the past mayweather downplayed cotto, and yes there have been many discussions of a fight between the two, it was stated by cotto, i can't make him fight me, i believe margarito has said the same, and everyone knows cotto does not call anyone out, came from his own mouth many times also. but it's real convienent that almost everyone has a fight on tap now that matweather is set to come out of retirement. oh wait there's mosely, but wait, that's right mosely ain't on mayweathers level right, but marquez is? go figure

but arum has NEVER offered a cotto fight to mayweather. cotto doesn't call people out, but if you notice, the fighters getting the fights are the ones that actually call mayweather out, not say, "i fight whoever my people tell me to fight." until cotto, with his own mouth says, "i want to fight mayweather," its not fair to say mayweather is ducking him.

also, shane offered floyd a fight for 8 million, let's wait and see if the marquez fight is for more than that, before we bring shane into the mix.

2006 : Cotto fighting at Jr. WW while Floyd was fighting Welterweights

i never said anyone was ducking, but if you're suppose to be the p4p king but don't fight the top guys in your weight class, fights that would make crazy money, and many in between, something should be said about that, in which it has. now mabe mayweather fighting marquez is a tune up, cause that's all i can see it being( floyd will knock marquez out obviously) then his next fight imo should be mosely. mabe this is the second comming of mayweather and he does wanna prove he's the greatest of all time. it's not about hate, it's about the best fighting the best to become atg.
