  • Do PBF haters and huggers realize that ...

He is not going to be the same fighter when he comes back. Win lose or draw, he is going to be older and he will fight different. He will be stockier, possibly physically stronger, and certainly slower.

Huggers don't be cry when you see the flashiness is gone.

Haters don't think that what you see is a prime fighter.

It is also the time for him to prove his greatness.

Ray Leonard, Pernell Whitaker, Roy Jones all deteriorated in their 30s. Some had it worse due to inactivity or coke (SRL and PEA) some put on a few more good fights duo to their discipline (RJJ until Ruiz with a final display of heart in the Tarver fight).
Which is PBF going to be like?

Ray Robinson on the other hand came back and was a force at 160 for years.
Huggers, forget that. Mayweather is not going to get his brains scrambled to try back up the claim of being the greatest ever. He will be happy with the money he made.

PBF has the defense to be still top level in his 30s, but he'll probably be a little more easier to hit. James Toney was pretty sucessful with that defense until like 2008. Of course even in his prime, Toney was more hittable then Floyd anyway

You must have missed one million posts saying

"Floyd will be too fast for..."

              Or the other million saying

"Now it will be shown that he was a fraud all along..."

That is true, I need to see him fight again before I make any kind of statment about what he is doing from here on in with his career. i think he is to big and skillful for JMM but who knows at this point. Moving beyond this fight predicting what he will be able to do after this fight is even mroe sketchy.

If the numbers are right I might bet on JMM just to play that chance that FLoyd is not the same guy (I have never once bet against Floyd and could really consider it here at +500 or more).

I'd like to see how he looks on July 18th first, before I make any claims that he's "past prime", "or still in his prime"
