I also get the feeling with Williams is that he doesn't want to go too high at the moment. He came in at 157 for Winky which is pretty light really for a top middleweight contest nowadays becuase then he only needs 10 pounds and can get back down to welter. If he put on even more mass and properly filled out 160 he would definitely outwork Abraham to a UD so long as his chin held up. I also get the feeling Abraham won't be at 160 for more than 2 more fights.
thats a good point my man, green k for pointing it out.

williams does not want to come in too heavy because i think he still wants to be able to make 154 and clean out the division. i think a part of him may even think he can still make 147. however when hes serious about campainging at MW he will bulk up.

but yeah he doesn't want to go too high however that being said if he gets a major fight against hopkins, taylor, johnson, dawson or bute @170 or 168 i think he will try and make it, anything higher than that and he will think of it as too far and turn it down.

DIdnt AA have to be hospitalized for trying to make 160?

If thats the case, he should be moving up to 168.

I picked AA because styles make fights. I think Williams would own the slow one demensional Pavlik but AA would beat Williams down. However, Im not completely sold that AA would beat Pavlik

Lol. Of course Pwill is the floydstans favourite fighter so they have to assume the opponent will be at a weight disadvantage. So if this fight's at 147 pwill takes it I agree.

Abraham by KO with the first clean shot that he lands. His power is scary, lil P Will (I know he's tall, but he's got a small ass frame) ain't gonna be able to take ANY on the chin.

You guys are acting like Abraham never throws any punches, he throws punches but covers up for the most part waiting to counter and pretty much dominates when he decides to throw. P Will isn't going to be able to hurt Abraham at all.

Williams' work rate will work for a little bit but he leaves himself too wide open and no way in hell will he be able to take a punch from Abraham. Abraham doesn't depend on punches to the head either, he can work the body pretty well.

Work rate won't win against someone as powerful as Abraham, especially when you're as hittable as Paul Williams.
