Listen, and before anyone bashes me, this is my personal opinion: Floyd Mayweather Jr. is then, is now, and will be forever better than Manny Pacquaio. Manny is undeniably the most entertaining boxer on the planet today and deserves all the credit he gets in the process. I just can't stand when fans piggyback their fighter based off the performance of another fighter who faced the same person. If Pac beats Hatton, Floyd beats Pac. If Hatton beats Pac, Floyd beats Ricky. What's so hard to understand that he is a better fighter than either one of them? Now, to tomorrows fight. I'm picking Ricky mainly due to the fact that this is his natural weight in which he is undefeated at. He's the strongest, fastest, and most well adapted at 140lbs. Manny, on the otherhand, is a n00b at this weight and nobody has ANY clue how he will fair against the undefeated 140lb'er. All we have to go on is his past fights. Diaz - is no Ricky Hatton. ODLH (That night) - is no Ricky Hatton. In Manny's defense, I think he presents a style which could potentially be a nightmare for Ricky with decent power to go along with it, but, who knows. Pure speculation. Bottom line, and all my own opinion, I think Ricky holds the advantage in this fight. I think he is the stronger man, better brawler (which it WILL become a brawl at some point) and more comfortable at this weight. Who knows though, less than a day before we find out. To my main point, one more time, STOP comparing the turn out of events in this fight to ANYTHING regarding Floyd Mayweather - because he beats them both anyway.Comment
