WOW thats a bit harsh for a difference in views?????
Hatton to sc**** through by stoppage.
Just want to scare him being offensive! But I respect his views.
Though I'm rooting for Pacman to KO Hatton not later than 10 rounds. Hatton being aggressive and relying much of his confidence as being big puncher, will not promise him anything, much more of winning against Pacman with complete arsenals! Pacman would outlanded him much of bigger punches in every rounds until he would stop Hatton at around 7 or 8!
i said to myself after the oscar fight n when this fight got signed that hatton would win with those vicious body shots and taking the fight to pac. as soon as i saw the odds i thought to myself im pounding hatton. my gut says ricky's just too big, it's his weight class & pac is in my eyes unproven above 135. As much as i'd love to see manny win as it would put him higher up on the all time list, as good as it would be for the sport, i think fighting in your 4th weight class in 4 fights will ultimately take its toll. the guy is human, him being favoured is mind boggling. As long as ricky is as aggressive as normal and backs pac up i cant see him not winning and expect a late round stoppage. Hatton TKO 10. I really really hope im wrong.
Marquez, faster more accurate and skilled than Hatton. Defensively superior.
defensively superior? neither hatton, pacman, or marquez are defensive wizards. they're only high-octane offensive fighters, which is why neither of these guys could ever beat a fmj.
Hatton needs to be given some serious, serious credit if he wins this one. 70-80% of the boxing world thinks he is going to lose. I just hope they show a bit of dignity, and give the praise Hatton deserves if he wins.
I picked Pacquaio earlier on, but as the fight draws close, I'm starting to think that Hatton will cause an upset.
i had this gut feeling......the magic were gonna pull it off against the sixers last night w/o howard AND lee.......i got that same gut feeling as it relates to the upset in this fight....real ****.
First off one of one of these days, I 'm going to have to sit down and bet some points against somebody out here, and I am going to need some intructions on how to do it too. However I din't have the time right now, because my lucky ass is on my way to Vegas to watch this terrific matchup.
Any way, let me kepp it short and sweet. Hatton by stoppage, relatively early I suspect 5th or 6th. All this talk about a enormous speed advantage for Manny is nonsense. I'll believe it when I see it. I think Ricky cuts off the ring easily against Manny, and then it's on. This will be an inside fight , one that expect Ricky to take full advantage of. He will use great use of the jab to shortin the distance, and unles Pac can catch him on the way in this is going it will be a bad night for him. Too much size and strengh, and more than enough speed. Oh yeah , and a better trainer. Peace out.
this fight reminds me eerily of cotto-margarito......being a quick, combination puncher is good, but when you end up mixing it up with a naturally bigger guy, and not using your skills like you should, bad things happen.
I am not a fan of either one, so I think I can be objective about this fight. Pacquaio has the speed. Hatton has the power. Even though Pacquaio pummeled a shot De La Hoya with his speed, he never truly hurt him or knocked him down. I don't think his speed will be able to overcome Hatton's power and all-out assault. If Hatton were fighting under his old trainer, I would say Pacquaio by unaminous decision or late stoppage. However, since Hatton has a quality trainer, I am going with Hatton by unaminous decision or late stoppage.
....Too bad though. I would love to see Pacquaio win so Mayweather could take him to the woodshed later this year.
