Go join wrestling, you seem to hold onto your opponents all the time and try to use your body weight to tire them out. Ashame the ref didn't dq you against Kostya for that lame ass style you call fighting. And you also do that **** Carl Froch does sometimes where he grabs the back of the head of his opponent and purposely pulls them down with your body weight. Lame ass
Should Ricky Hatton consider a career in wrestling?

Did you see in the taylor fight when Froch was fight like a one dimensional fighter and kept pulling taylors head down(which he kept doing) and eventually fighting like that tires your opponent out anyways. Alot of dirty **** going on in boxing and its disgusting that the refs we have don't do much about it. Froch only got one warning fighting like that, yet he still continue to do it. But froch is no wheres near as bad as Hatton was in the kostya fight, Hattons whole gameplan was to clinch with one arm to make Kostya a one armed fighter and to put his body weight into Kostya to tire him out.Comment

its the refs job to break them . otherwise whats the point of having the ref there ? hugging is illegal in boxing. its no different than if vitali
started kneeing his opponents in the face just because it worked
it might work but its not boxing ....Comment

Kneeing was never a part of boxing. Clinching/hugging is a part of boxing. It's a technique used when you are in trouble or when you want to smother/not let your opponent get off. Example: Mosley vs Margarito. Paul Williams does it too, and a lot of other fighters do worse things(Cotto low blowing Judah twice) It's all part of the game, if you were a pro boxer you would be taught about all of those tactics.Comment
