There is alot of talk about a Hopkins vs Froch showdown and even though I would watch, it would be a one sided destruction for Hopkins like his fight against Trinidad or Pavlik. Froch should have got knocked out by Taylor if Taylor would have went after him instead of standing still when he knocked him down in the 3rd. I give respect to Froch and I always support the British guys but he got lucky at the end because Taylor always fades in the later rounds. He is way to slow for Hopkins and if Taylor knocked him down for the first time, think of what Hop will do. Hopkins by KO or TKO.
Seriously Froch stands no chance against Hopkins.

I disagree. No one knows when Hopkins will stop drinking from the fountain of youth. He could become old in any one of his fights. Froch is a young power puncher who will not fade going into the later rounds and could knock Hop out with 14 seconds left in the 12th.Comment

Your right about the fountain of youth but he has such great defense that I dont think someone like Froch could ever KO him.Comment

whether it be against froch or somebody else....one day hopkins will go off the diving board because of his age......that could come in any fight he fights in now.Comment

All my points say Froch will be discombobulated, bleeding, dazed, confused, hurt, and in a hypnotized trance by the twelfth round simply following Hopkins around, as his ass gets teed off on.Comment

I will never bet against Hop, for obvious reasons. People need to realize all fighters eventually get old. Bernard had all the motivation in the world against Pavlik. 4-1 underdog, Kelly knocked out an opponent that beat him, all the pundits wrote him off, etc. Hopkins hasn't even been in a ring since the Pavlik fight. He will be the heavy favorite in a bout with Froch and may lack motivation. Carl is the last person you get in the ring with when you're not fully motivated. It is all opinions anyways.Comment
