For however many flaws Cotto has in his defense(there are many), he hardly ever gets hit with a flush left hook.

If Cotto doesn't get caught real bad with a left hook, I think he wins a decision. And I don't think he would have.

    Cotty by UD, outworking DLH.

    Prime DLH KO's Cotto.

Why can't the haters point the obvious!?..

DLH of 02 and before would most likely SMASH Cotto at any year!..

but 06 DLH would get DROPPED and TKO'd due to punishment..PERIOD!..
I think you meant the 07 version.

At that point, DLH was gassed even more.

The dude, Cotto, went heads up with Mosley who can crack himself.

Miguel would have been fine against the part time fighter.

Matter of fact, I'd also pick Margarito, Williams and Clottey to beat DLH as well.

People are acting like the DLH of 07 was the same as the DLH of 97.

Its absurd when you think about it.

It looks like people are assuming a 154 version of Cotto will be the same as a 147.

I'm saying that for whatever reason, Cotto barely ever gets hit flush with a left hook. There are punches he can't avoid, and punches he has a good defense for. The left hook is one of them. I can't tell you what it is he does to avoid it, but I've seen every Cotto fight multiple times, and he never gets hit by a left hook.

              Just an observation.

Except for the Torres fight, but Torres was just swinging wildly, impossible to compare.

Its akin to people making the 07 version of DLH somehow magically transform into the 1997 DLH.

Thats why he tried to pick on Pacquiao, because he knows he couldn't handle any of the prime welters.

                  Funny thing is,

                  it backfired on him.

This is when you look as ignoant as always.

Cottos problem is getting hit with Uppercuts specially right hand ones. He barely gets hit with any left hooks!!!!!!!!!!!1

You take that way from Oscar and he is done. Cotto actually have a good right hand unlike Oscar. Cotto have more offensive weapons!!!!!!!

DLH KO's him. Cotto might go 154 in time, but right now, I can't see him bein effective there at all. He's shorter wit a shorter reach and would have to get inside DLH's jab. And should he do that, he must avoid the hook, which I don't think he could do enuf to not be stopped.
