I agree with getsumbrah, I think Sr. is way overrated as a trainer. Sure he'll put you through a workout at camp, but does he make you a better fighter? I dont think so. He talks a good (albeit annoying) game, but I think he hangs off the coat tails of Roger/Jr.'s success a lot - always bringing up how he taught Jr. everything he knows, etc.
