Is there or can there be a snowball effective when.................

Is there or can there be a snowball effective when...............a particular fighter steps up to be counted in a competitive division, and risks all?

Im thinking has Froch's gamble just started a ball rolling where all these other SMW are now thinking to themselves "hey Froch just took a huge gamble and he is now close to being the figure head of the division, and im better than Froch, i might do that to"

Is Froch the trail blazer, the guy who who just lit the blue touch paper in the SMW division ?

Does that kind of thing happen in your opinion. Does it take just one fighter to set an example to get these great matches made?

yeah I think so to a certain extent. I mean Kessler must be thinking he's got to step up soon or he'll be considered irrelevant. At least, that's what many fans are thinking.

I'm pretty sure he thinks that as well, Fights are however not made just by fighter A calling out fighter B. A big fight will always require a lot of negotiating including venue and pursesplit.

Still Froch's brashness has to give something and I say it's a major step in getting Kessler out of his chair. I will be NSB's most disapointed poster if this fight doesn't get off due to Kessler's management fall-out.

I hope its a wake up call to all other boxers to make the best fights possible happen. Froch wants the best, plain and simple.

Hopefully, others will follow that same mentality.

Indeed. Froch has a super fan-friendly attitude.

But it's wishful thinking that others will follow IMO.
