How can this fight be unsanctioned?

    Most recent fight.

I mean, really, if it's for the interim WBA title, doesn't that mean the WBA is sanctioning it?

When he fought Somsak Sithchatchawal, it was a 'title eliminator'. Defeating Hernandez was for the 'interim' title. Where does it state that the fight was unsanctioned?

I'm talking about the Rafael Hernandez one, and the yellow circle with the exclamation point in it is what verifies that it is unsanctioned.

This links states that the fight was a sanctioned 'interim' title fight. It states that the winner (Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym) should face Bernard Dunne later this year.

        Not sure if this helps.

I figured it was... I guess it's just a boxrec error.

Good fight by the way, Dunne vs. Poonsawat for the fake WBA title.

Both men have huge hearts, so i can imagine a war if the fight was to come off. Also Cabellero should be moving up, so it could be for the proper WBA title.
