I doubt it would be weight related as Hatton always seems to cut the weight w/o problem. Maybe an injury like another poster mentioned. Or perhaps lack of focus, training problems, etc. who knows.

I believe that Ricky's humor was mistaken.

I think Ricky crossed some lines by laughing about the kool aide and the watermelon and the fried chicken jokes.

I think Mayweather Sr might view Ricky as a little racist.

I don't know what else it could be. But if there is any discomfort or bad vibes between Mayweather Sr., and Ricky Hatton during training, this will be very bad because you can't work with some one who makes you uncomfortable, the vibes that get sent out by the body are like having a dark cloud lurking above.
