Trinidad Conflicated Over Making a Hopkins Rematch

Felix "Tito" Trinidad is conflicted on making a decision as to whether he should return to the ring in a rematch with Bernard Hopkins or fully retire from the sport. Promoter Don King met with Trinidad last week in Puerto Rico to discuss a possible rematch with Hopkins at the end of the year. Trinidad has not fought since last January's decision loss to Roy Jones Jr. Prior to the fight with Jones, Trinidad was out of the ring for almost three years. Hopkins is open to a rematch but denies reports that he is pursuing the fight. [details]

Hopkins would win 10 out of 10 times Tito don't lie to yourself.

Tito needs to lay off the defensive counter puncher. I'm sure he'd be very competitive or capable of beating Froch/ Pavlik who are open to be hit.

Yeah, his 3 losses to B-Hop, Winky, and Roy were complete blow outs. I agree, he can look pretty good against Pavlik, Froch, and even Miranda but none of them will get him that $15 Mill check that he can get for a B-Hop fight.

lol, both of them would knock tito out. Tito has no power at higher weights and is easy as hell to hit.

What he should be contemplating is the FACT that he will 100% lose to Hopkins, not what his wife or others are telling him. If its worth 15 mil go for it, if not stay retired.

Trinidad is one of my favs. Always seems like a good idea for him to come back. This time I think he should stay retired.

But Tito fights perfect for a Pavlik or Froch. He would be right in the line of fire and Tito never had a great chin. Besides they wouldnt get any credit for beating a old Tito anyway.
