He isn't from Africa necessarily. He was born here. His parents and there parents were also born here. So doesn't that just make him an American of a darker skin tone? I've never understood the necessity of the word African in African American when generation after generation has been born here. My ethnicity and racial make up is that of Latin descent, so I am Puerto Rican by blood but I am an American when it comes down to it. Doesn't the same logic apply here?
Would you deny your Puerto Rican Heritage?
Of course not, thats why you mentioned your Purto Rican by blood.
Just as you said He is African by Blood, but American when it comes down to it.
Hes proud of being African, and American. He doesn't want to leave either out.
(African American) says all this in two words. Nice and easy. When your proud to be both, why leave either out?Comment

Terms mean nothing. Its down to the commonsense you apply, and interpretation. That is how you get a true reflection. Its like i would call a black Brit an African Brit because i ASSUME that all people that originated from African are black, and no white man has ever originated from there.
Yes you broadening the terms.
BTW How does the black guy have more African ancestry, if we are ALL supposed to originate from Africa ??Comment

I'm making fun of the "Is Cotto A Mulato Thread".
Why are people discussing peoples racial background?
Does it have anything to do with boxing ability, what goes on in the ring, future matchs up?
Is it relevant to ANYTHING at all?
Nope.
So this is me being a **** in response to that.Comment
