Jorge Linares -- Does He Have the Worst Promoter Ever?

This guy should be a Boxing After Dark fixture by now, promoted by Golden Boy or Top Rank. Instead he fights on obscure PPVs, and RARELY for such a young fighter. This is a young fighter who they should bring along at a reasonable pace, but this is outragous. He should be fighting at least once every 3 months right now. He needs to ditch these Japanese promoters.

Jap is actually considered a racial slur FYI.

But yeah, it is embarrassing that one of the futures of boxing has fought one guy who has ever had a world title, and it was Larios.

His follow up two fights were against nobodies, and his fight in a week is against a nobody.

    STEP THE **** UP Linares.

He had a bad injury, but I am worried about his career, wether it's the injury or the promoting he was the best prospect I had seen in a long long time time now. I hope he becomes a great.

He just suffered an injury recently, I think this may be the reason they are moving him up kind of slow. For now, I think Teiken is doing a poor job of promoting him though.

I would like for ppl to reflect for a second on the fact that Linares is actually younger than Juanma (2 years), Gamboa (4 years), Kirkland (1 year), Angulo (3 years).

Linares biggest problem is staying healthly. I just hope he doesn't turn into that guy who just can't stay healthly

Agreed, Kessler's promoters have managed to actually move him further from big profile fights. Kessler wants the big money and exposure but his promoters want to keep him boxing limited fighters in Europe.

At least Linares promoters want him to fight when he is fit! I really hoped he would step up after he fought Larios though. He definately should be further along with the natual talent he has.
