No matter how good boxer you are once you get taken down especially by somebody who outweighs you by 20+ pounds you are in deep ****.

And yes Vitali is the only kickboxer of the 2.
Still it's Wlad by brutal KO regardless of him fighting Grammatica or roider Mandarich.

Then again I know nothing about Military training, I just know that in a street fight, the fighter is inferior to the boxer. Imho
If i shoot you for a double leg take down below your knees trust me you cannot throw an uppercut. Only a sprawl can save you. Try it with your friends (but ofcourse make sure its safe like in a gym). You cannot stop a take down if you dont know how to, and throwing an uppercut is not the way to stop it. It is military tested and proven.

and this conversation about street fighting is funny, though. I fought in U.S. twice, while i was exchange student. sure they fight funny, like in movies.

Kevin Jesus is right. In a real street fight, the guy who can brawl would get tooled by the boxer. To realize that, you need to get punched by a real boxer. The first time i sparr with a pro boxer, he hit me so hard, that i couldn't hear ****. Just after that, i only cared about blocking punches the whole round. If i had the right to, i would'nt have tried to take him down, and to eat an uppercut in the process.

And that **** about fights going to the ground is false. It's a MMA guys argument. I fought something like 5 times during my life and it always ended when the sucker bled or went down.( i always won, lol, except once but i was 8 years old and it was against an older kid)

We are talking about an nfl defensive back who is trained to take people down not some 8 year old kid who don't now **** about fighting. You guys are watching tv too much street fighting is more than just boxing.
