A ref should not be talked back to or argued with during any warning between rounds

After re-watching Hatton vs Mayweather Jr., today, again. I noticed that any time Cortez would go to a corner to remind the fighters to keep it clean or what ever the ref had to say, Mayweather's corner would jump all over Cortez. There should be a new rule in which the corner has to keep their mouth shut and let the ref say what he has to say and he should not be talked back to. It should be illegal to snap back at the ref and the corner has no right to say anything. Cortez was trying to tell Mayweather Jr to stop with the elbow shots and that ****** ass snaggle tooth Roger had the nerve to snap back at Cortez and tell Cortez to warn Hatton for holding. We all know that it was Mayweather who was innitianting all of the holding and Cortez was really unable to get his messege accross to Mayweather Jr about the elbows because his corner was so quick to jump on Cortez'. (It was a form of intimidation by Mayweather's corner) Not only was it intimidating, it was causing confusion.

I know that the arguments against Cortez have been many but no one has ever touched on the subject I brought up today.

A ref should be respected by the fighters and the corner men aswell.

And please all you Floyd nuthuggers dont come into the thread defending Mayweather Jr because this is an example of what I saw. And either you agree with what I said about a ref and what a fighters corner should not be allowed to do, or you dont agree.
if you want to defend Floyd I will make a thread where I attack Floyd personally and you can defend your husband in that thread.

    In closing
Cortez really let this fight go where it should have never gone. Cortez looked an amatuer ref that night. But I still stick with the fact that the corner has to shut it's trap when the man in charge of everything is talking and he should not be talked back to.

Absolutely. I have no time for any sportsman (boxing, football, rugby etc.) that doesn't respect the ref.

Ruiz's corner in the RJJ fight was atrocious. If I were the ref, I would've smacked the lot of them myself and told them to stop whining like babies.

What if it was a scenario like the one Marlon Wright put forth to Librado Andrade in the Bute match?

Not matter which you way you slice it, Hatton got beat by the better fighter, not the referee.

Just ask Emanuel Augustus, he got DQ'd for cussing at Lawrence Cole.
