Tito avoided challenges at 147 for SEVEN years..

Tito ducked anybody with a Title until fighting Oscar.

Judge Tito by Floyd's standards and he's the biggest coward in WW history.

Floyd's hands have known to be brittle.
It's why he was using "Winning" gloves for a long time.

I think it may have been him who used cortisone shots for one of his fights and told he wasn't allowed to use the shots again...something like that. If anybody knows the details.....

For Money: If you sign for 8 million, you get half that after taxes and then there are other fees...plus expenses unless you can right them off. Not sure how it works with them.

Floyd RETIRED in his prime BECAUSE his division was loaded and he did not have the balls to address them. Enough said,he is the biggest coward in Boxing history.

He has has NEVER fought an elite prime fighter in his life.

Biggest coward in Boxing history that is Floyd's legacy.

FLOYD JR. FIGHTS HIS WAY BACK
By TIM SMITH DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER

            Sunday, September 15th 2002, 8:29AM

LAS VEGAS - There is too much lingering doubt about his narrow victory over Jose Luis Castillo to suit WBC lightweight champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. And he is working like a man who wants to clear it all up when the two meet in a rematch at Mandalay Bay on Oct. 5.

Through a two-hour workout this week, Mayweather taunted and frustrated a sparring partner with his speed and quickness. ****** out a percussive symphony on the pads of his uncle and trainer, Roger Mayweather. Hit the heavy bag like a heavyweight. And then did a series of situps that began with him flat on his back and ended with him standing straight up.

"I asked for Castillo again," Mayweather said. "I'm not going to back down from a challenge. It was easy the first time. It's going to be easier this time."

Roger Mayweather said Floyd Jr. injured his rotator cuff on the last day of sparring and didn't have any pop in his jab or in any punches he threw with his left hand. It was not the type of performance that Mayweather's fans have come to expect from him because he was basically a one-armed boxer.

After the fight, Mayweather received a cortisone shot in the shoulder and then went through a couple of months of physical therapy to strengthen his arm. He didn't need surgery.

From the way Mayweather was pounding the heavy bag, his shoulder and his hands, which have nagged him in the past, are in good shape.

Mayweather has always felt his talents have been underappreciated, and that lack of respect continues to be a source of frustration. But he seems to have made his peace with it and his promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank.

"I know Hispanic fighters are big on the West Coast," Mayweather said. "I would feel very comfortable for this fight (against Castillo) to be on the East Coast at Madison Square Garden. I want to be promoted in urban areas a lot more. So a lot of my people can come out and support me more."

Arum had wanted to use the same marketing model for Mayweather that he had used for De La Hoya. But Mayweather threw a wrench in those plans two years ago when he split with his father Floyd Sr. and turned his career over to rap music impresario James Prince. The rift put Mayweather on the shelf for several months and he later had some run-ins with Las Vegas police over some allegted domestic-abuse incidents.

Mayweather seemed to be back on track, but he has lost some of the momentum he had gained two years ago. An impressive victory over Castillo could lead to a major showdown with IBF lightweight champ Paul Spadafora and could put Mayweather back in the public eye in a good way.

how much money did floyd mayweather realy make for his fights?I read 2 articles that mayweather bragged that he made 20 million for the big show & in reality floyd only made 3 million with wwe...in the same article it says mayweather bragged he made 8 million for baldomir but in reality floyd only made 4 million..another point that the article mentioned is when floyd claimed he broke his hand in the jesus chavez & at the post fight his hands looked fine when he was signing autographs & never went to the hospital to get it casted, after the first castillo fight in the interview floyd said his arm was messed up & when asked again later that same night he said his hand was broken, again he never got it casted,he also claimed he hurt his hand against the 36 yearold with 10 losses journeyman baldomir & that was the reason why he couldnt knockout baldomir because of his hand...this guy has been cuaght on many lies & why do so many ppl believe all the garbage that comes out of this frauds mouth?HBO hyped up this guy to look better than what he realy was and all those mayweather fans have been drinking to much HBO kool-aid..
was that floyd's accountant that answered? if not, then don't believe it.
