Yet another reason sanctioning bodies are ******...

How is beltless, but best in the division, Ricky Hatton rated by the 4 bodies at 140?

    WBA - 6
Kotelnik, Salita, Maidana, Ortiz, Pacquiao and Khan are ranked above him.

    WBO - 2
Bradley and Pacquiao are ranked above him.

    IBF - 5
Urango, Not Rated, Not Rated, Bailey and Campbell are ranked above him.

    WBC - 5
Alexander, Witter, Pacquiao and Campbell are ranked above him.

So... in 3 bodies, Pacquiao, a guy with 0 fights at 140 is ranked above the lineal champ.

Great work sanctioning bodies... you are making a lot of sense.

Thats why I just focus on the big fights....the belts and rankings are becoing pointless.

Then not to mention what they just did to Clottey and Bradley.

The Bradley thing makes sense... Alexander has been sitting as his mandatory for a while.

Clottey just won his ****ing belt in a vacant fight, so he shouldn't have a mandatory stripping situation yet I wouldn't think.

Who were you before you changed your name by the way?

Wasn't the Rolando Reyes fight at 140 too?

I'm pretty sure it was, I can't imagine Castillo trying to make 135 for a third time after failing twice against Corrales.

If I called the WBA president and asked him what number Hatton was at 140, do you honestly think he could have an intelligent conversation with me about why he thought that Ricky Hatton was good, but there were 6 guys who were better than him in the division?

Do these people even realize what these rankings mean anymore?

                Boxing is a BUSINESS.

Hatton is a PPV megastar. Hence why he and Pacqiao are fighting instead of Pacquiao and somebody else.
