According to most Floyd fans, Floyd isnt a WW, nor is he a JWW.

Then what the *** is he?????

I've heard some really dumb **** come out the mouths of Floyd fans before, but this really tops it.

When it comes to him fighting WW's, they claim he's to small and not really a natural WW, yet in the same breath, they claim he cant make 140 anymore.

Can anyone explain this one to me? They've really outdone themselves with this one. LMAO!!!

Heres my problem deevell.... because one floyd fan says ONE thing... you hold them ALL responsible for what that one person says...

    this happens throughout this forum...

Just because one fan says one thing, certainly doesnt mean other fans feel the same way

you cant hold them all responsible for someones ill posting

This should be a direct question to the people who have made these direct quotes... not a generalized thread to ALL floyd fans..

You hit it right on the head, He's a WW now. Just because he keeps himself in shape between fights and doesn't balloon up in weight and rehydrate to 160 doesn't mean he's not a WW.

It's like saying Hopkins isn't a LHW when he clearly is even though he doesn't rehydrate to 190...

the smart ones know he takes fights based on how much $$$ he can earn off them. it makes no difference whether its against a WW or a JWW. he'll fight anybody if the price is right. once the bashers and haters come to that understanding, we'll have a lot less threads like this one here.

Floyd Mayweather is without a doubt a Welterweight. A small one, but no doubt a Welterweight.

I think after his fight with Marquez will the pressure be on Floyd to fight the very best without there being a big money fight that also contains a low risk factor. I'm actually excited though I believe he will beat Marquez quite convincingly.

which floyd fan said that he can't make 140? thats probably his natural weight right now. he packs on the muscle to make 147.

                just stfu and stop hating.

btw, the 'k' in kswizzy should be small case.

Yeah but I consider myself a Floyd fan, although I dont goto lengths to defend him and I dont feel this way..

I feel he IS a welterweight.. hes been there for 4+ years... I dont care what his weight is on fight night...

Just because Cotto balloons up to 160... this makes floyd a JRWW because he only balloons up to 150?

Floyd spent half his career moving UP IN WEIGHT... if he wants a few mega matchups to come UP to face him.. whats the big deal?

Bernard sure did it... and he is touted as legendary...

I understand the JMM debacle because he was a 130lb fighter two fights ago... so THAT i understand...

Well it does make a difference in this case when he's trying to get a light weight to come up to 147 for a fight. Im happy that a deal is close to signed, and a catchweight is has been agreed upon, but it doesnt negate the fact that Floyd tried to make this fight happen at 147.

His fans defend this fight happening at WW, yet moan and complain that he's not a WW when an actual WW wants to fight at WW.
