So I won't be surprised if Victor Ortiz or Amir Khan gets a shot at it.
Actually it's because Devon Alexander has been the mandatory for over 12 months and hasn't gotten a title shot. Devon Alexander will be fighting Junior Witter; sorry no Mexicans there.

Look, these sanctioning bodies have rules. From time to time they enforce them. Tim Bradley knew that he was supposed to fight Devon Alexander. It's not a surprise. Alexander has been his mandatory since the day he won the title. He decided not to fight Alexander. Why? I don't know, but it probably has to do with money and tv exposure.

Y'all can cry Bradley a river, but he knew what he was doing when he moved ahead without fighting Alexander. I'm saying though good for Devon Alexander. He needs more big fights. Eventually he might work his way into a position where Bradley will fight him.

Great post, Bradley knows the rules i mean that how he got his own shot at Witter, Devon had been waiting for sometime now so good luck on Alexander and Witter.

Bradley isn't popular therefore they strip him. Give it to someone popular and make more money for said fighter wearing the belt.

The WBC is the worst out of the sanctioning bodies. However they have the prettiest belts

                      IBO for the win.
Sadly it's the way of the sport. It's not the belts and the honours, it's the names on the resume that hold more water. Take Hatton, he's just happy trotting along with the IBO belt rather than going for any of the others, whilst fighting bigger names like Pacman, Floyd....probably JMM as well. He's got no interest in fighting for the other belts in his division against guys like, Bradley or Kotelnik.
