Mayweather, is he what boxing needs???

Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather left boxing with a lot of people wondering who could possibly beat him. There were mixed feelings as if boxing would ever be the same. Turned out boxing was the same with or without him. Now the call for Mayweather to come back has brought new life to boxing some say. Its not new life to boxing, its just some added excitment "IF" he comes back. Regardless with or without PBF boxing will go on without a hitch, and of lately we have seen some GREAT fights and yes none of them had PBF in them. Now don't get me wrong I like PBF but, all this hype over Mayweather coming back really isn't what boxing needs. Mayweather needs boxing. How do you see it??????? Until next time its KO2you

No..I think boxing even gained more fans when Mayweather retired coz Pac became the P4P..whether u like it or not people love exciting fights..that's y they love PACman..U cant really say that to Mayweather..Not to disrespect mayweather coz he has great boxing skills

it's no coensidence that when Mayweather left, the fights in the welter division got better.
boxing as a whole has been doing great too, globally and localy.
I wouldn't say he is needed. Maybe for America.. but not for boxing as a whole.
I think Pacquiao is doing a better job representing the sport though then Mayweather did.
