    126 - Lopez vs. Linares

What do people think? Kellerman called these two the best two up and comers in the sport right now, so I think this is a good fight to discuss. Both guys will be around for quite a while it seems, so... this fight might happen, and it could actually turn into a trilogy, considering how young and good both of these guys are.

I haven't seen Linares so I can't weigh in, but... I'd like to know your thoughts on the subject.

Side note: What Linares fight(s) should I watch if I want to see the magic this guy can produce? (Against a fairly top notch fighter please... anyone can look magical against substandard competition)

linares next "title" defense is against a 12-1 guy who just lost and has never fought anyone of note. pathetic for a so called champ. why is he getting a free pass?

Linarez has lots of skills but have only fought straight up bums.

I think he can do well, for the first half, but hell get boken down by Juanma!!!!

I'm DL'ing it. I have heard good things about this fight in the past actually, now that I think about it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Man, I actually did boxrec him, and his record is pretty damn sad for being so highly regarded and a champion. Hopefully this is a mandatory and he fights someone real in the future.

i hope so too because hes damn good. at least hes knocking these tomato cans spark out unlike calzaghe who had to take them to decision or get early stoppages.

I think it's in that fight were larios have that internal bleeding in the brain that temporarily makes him retired..

he's kinda untested but his skills were so great.. i guess his promoter is so slow in giving him some major opponents and exposure in the US..
