I don't think Manny has that thundering, one shot power; like a Trinidad or even Valero, but something about the way his punches land and the speed in which they are delivered, hurts all of his opponents.

xcaret after May 2nd: lol Ricky is not Mexican so I don't give a ****. Besides he's past prime, shot and cuts easy. Manny only fights old, shot fighters. He's overrated. ****** ****er.

I agree with this post....I think manny has potential to hurt ricky, but i've seen ricky walk through some nasty shots from bigger hitters then manny....all i'm saying is if he cant back hatton off....manny will have tought time...and if this is an inside fight....its going to be very difficult for him....manny doesnt have the ring iq of a floyd, jr to beat hatton on the inside.

It doesnt take power to keep Ricky off it takes speed accuracy and timing , Floyd kept him off super easy with a jab to the midsection that was fired as Hatton hopped in and it threw his whole rhythm off , the last time Ricky had to deal with this kinda speed and accurate hands was with Floyd , I dont see this beast you talk about in Hatton , how on one hand does he struggle with Collazo go the distance with Pauli and Lazcano and then he is gunna be a beast and roll over Manny , just dont make sense looking at the form on the board .

I agree that Hatton would have an advantage on the inside, but I also think that he will be stung hard enough from the outside and coming in that he won't be able to just wade in and fight his fight. In other words, I do believe that Manny will be able to hurt him and back him off.

This is such a crazy fight though; I could see so many outcomes happening.

Question is: can Pacquiao handle Hatton's power?

i thinks hattons new footwork and head movement will offset that tho.
