And yes Hatton has a pretty good chance of winning the fight. He's bigger and imo hits harder. Combined with some speed and punching constituency, Hatton will deliver a tough fight and probably even win by a UD (never KO)

I've always maintained weight is overrated when it comes to boxing, people put too much stock into a few pounds (at least on this site they do!). Pacquiao might be pushing the envelope a bit at 147, but at 140 I feel he should win this fight. Height and reach are far more important physical advantages than weight or build of a fighter imo, and honestly pacquiao and hatton are pretty close in overall size.

Now if Hatton wins, I'm going on record right now I'll give hatton all the credit in the world and there will be no excuses other than "Ricky had the right gameplan" or "Ricky's style worked perfectly against Pacman."

On the other hand, if Pacquiao wins SPEED is a legitimate reason why he would win, that and him being the overral better boxer/fighter.

I really don't think size is a big issue, especially these days when fighters come in weighing anywhere from 1 to 30 pounds over the agreed upon weight when they enter the ring, it's something that fighters deal with almost every single fight.
