But why not SSM or Cotto??? PBF can't call himself an ATG without defending his "WW linear championship" agaisnt real WW opponents in their primes. Now it seems that he wants SSM to be just one more year older before fighting him...
A Cotto fight shudda happened but Shane is past prime. A Shane win on Floyd's resume does very little for him. He'd be still around the late 40's or 50's all time IMO.

And I doubt Floyd and Shane will fight. Shane turned it down. Floyd turned down 2 offers. It aint happenin.

So let me get this straight. In your pathetic mind, Cotto is a belt holder, but not a real champ. In the other hand, Margarito was a real and better champ because he beated Kermit Cintron for the IBF belt... No wonder you are part of the PBF Mafia. LMAO!!! You are nothing more but a ******. Your IQ most be around 30.

This is not opinion, it is fact. Floyd beat Baldo for the linear welterweight champion. He beat him in every round. Marg never fought anyone that was linear champion or close to it so moot argument.

It's a shame the fight never took place for one reason or the other... I hope there is time for the fight to happen before the year's end. IMO, SSM still brings "it" to every fight. It would be a significant win for PBF to beat SSM at 147lbs. before the 2009 is over.

I bet Youy if he pulls a FLoyd and fight the lesse champs in each division and duck the eal Challanges he will do it as well.

I mean, he can go for , Santos or FOrrest at 154, he can go for sturm o wait fo Abraham to vacate at 160 and he can fight Balzay at 168.

See how simple it is to win those belt for Cotto. But he pefers to fight the best in his division, instead of move to other weights, fight lesser champions and cry and say that he is a small fighter for that particular weight when a real champion/threat call him out!!!!!!!!!!
