How ridiculously deep is 168 right now?

Super middleweight is just stacked with good fighters right now. How much fun would an eight man tourney be with guys like Bika, Andrade, Taylor, Green, Ward, Dirrell, Froch, and Pascal? You could even throw in a couple of "play-in" rounds with fights like Codrington - Deleon Jr., Miranda - Berrio, Manfredo - Zuniga...

Not that it will ever happen, but damn. 168 is insane.

probably the second best weight division right now - imo the first is WW. at one point LW looked pretty good with casamayor, campbell, pacman, JMM, diaz, katsidis and guzman however since then a few fighters have either lost their stock or theyve moved up.

but yeah SMW is stacked right now, fights id like to see:

    kessler vs froch

    taylor vs andrade

bute vs miranda - if miranda wins,

if ward wins then maybe ward vs bika

its just a damn shame that the best fighter in the division is not fighting any of the big guns. i think the division has lost something in jean pascal he was a very good fighter with alot of potential someone like freddie roach could work wonders with that guy.

Its good but I doubt it will be great. 3 of those guys are foreigners and I doubt they will get too much shine. Allan Green is good...until he fights good competition. Ward kinda untested. Same wit Dirrell.

Jermain's the biggest name on the list and he lost to Froch who is a nobody in the states...it can get better tho wit sum exciting fights.

Yup, all of a sudden it's deep.

Or is it a load of belts have just become vacant and one name entered the division with a couple of young reasonable prospects. The latter if you ask me.

It's reasonably deep, but not to the extent some make out.

Yea it is pretty good, but someone really needs to prove they are the best for me to really consider it great. Can be a lot of very good fights made though to make that happean.

You ignored Kessler and Bute LOL, but I agree it's stacked. If Dawson does move down we'll have a truly incredible divison maybe even more stacked than LW, WW or LWW.
