First off, he said he wasn't there to change ricky's style, just to improve it.
Second, he's getting paid a whole of money for training hatton, so he can't be that dumb
Doesn't matter which version of Hatton shows up, Manny will always be the better boxer. Hatton can improve his defense, work on his jab. Nothing is stopping Manny from being a legend of boxing.
yea his purpose was to never change ricky's style, but to add improvements.
Isn't that what all trainers say and supposedly do? See what happen when Gatti and Katsidis tried to improve their defense and use their jab alot more often? Didn't work so well for them.
Well, if Hatton knocks Pac out, I'm going to give massive credit to Floyd for re-energizing him. He's training Hatton Detroit style and feeding him Kool-Aid and Chicken. Some good stuff.
You brits better start losing again, I'm getting very depressed lately. And it felt like someone punched me in my nutts hard as hell and laughed when Taylor was out-boxing Froch to only get ko'd in the final freaking round.
I swear to god, I'm going to cry if Manny Pacquiao outboxes the **** out of hatton in a pretty much one-sided fight and then ends up ko'd or some **** like that. Freaking lose british, and I don't know what I got against the british since I'm also british blood. But I just don't fancy most of their fighters.

Even if this is true it has nothing to do with the thread topic and question.
The point is you're simply incorrect when you made the statement that Floyd sr. is here to change ricky hatton's style, that couldn't be further from the truth.
Further, if Hatton can improve on his game, what's wrong with that? How is that ******? Should he be the same old ricky hatton that he always was or should he try to be the best ricky hatton possible by improving his game?
