    Just saw the Taylor fight..

I don't know why he always hesitates to pull the trigger though? He had Froch hurt in the 3rd, he stalled instead of going in for the kill. Playing it too cautious has caused Taylor some fights.
When the TKO did happen though, I felt it should and could have been stopped earlier. That was some beating Froch gave Taylor. I can't help but feel sorry for him.
Anyway, props to Froch for digging deep and pulling out the win despite being down on the cards. That was the first time I had watched him fight. He reminds me somewhat of a mummy when he fights, not really a style I dig but a decent fighter. However, I think Calzaghe beats him.

If Taylor went in the for the kill Carl would of taken a knee, its a smart move.

I think Taylor didn't go for the kill because in his mind he didn't want to make the same mistake he did against pavlik. He probably thought he would gas out if he tried to finish him so he would "play it smart."

Taylor said himself that he didn't finish him because he was afraid he would gas out, so he thought he would go for the KO in the later rounds.

Froch was hurt but by no means in Pavlik trouble.

Yea but I doubt he could finish Carl in the time remaining, if he did get another KD carl would just get back up again anyways.

....Taylor lacks that killer instinct. Too nice of a guy perhaps. I think he could have knocked out Lacy if he had stepped on the gas as well. He should have gone after Froch when he had him hurt with reckless abandon. Froch is strong and tough but very amateurish. BHop beats him, Calzonie beats him, and on and on. He simply had a guy in front of him who ran out of of gas 14 seconds too early.
