I don't hate Floyd, he has excellent boxing skills. But I don't like the way he:
1) always has to have all the advantages in fights, for example, he doesn't leave his hometown to fight; he had to fight Hatton at 147 not 140; he won't move down in weight to fight JMM and forces him to move up to an unnatural weight.
2) has hand-picked most of his opponents, often old fighters ready for retirement like Genaro Hernandez or De La Hoya, or fighters he will have a huge reach advantage over (Floyd's arms 26" to Hatton's 20")
3) refuses to fight highly technically skilled opponents (Tszyu, Mosley) and prefers tough guys with less skill (Gatti, Baldomir, Corrales).
If he were to fight Paul Williams, his first opponent who would have physical advantages over him, I would respect him and never say anything negative about him again. But instead he will fight an older, much smaller man in JMM.
