When you break it all down in numbers it's amazing how Juanma can constantly keep up that pace and how Penalosa took it.

I was watching the fight from my crib in NJ and I was saying the same exact thing! Much respect goes out to Gerry Penasola for giving it his all and showing the fans a heck of a fight! He will always be remembered if this is his last fight and he stayed very respectful and he handled everything like a gentleman. Great-classy guy!

Juanma on the other hand is a BEAST and he will EASILY clean out the 122lb division...I'll put my bank on that...

Gerry is one hella tough dude. I might be the only one here that believes this but I don't think Gerry was ready to give up even if he didn't complain about his corner throwing in the towel. He was still game and he was looking for the counters. I don't think he would have been able to come back but the last round warrented one more round. JuanMa is one heck of a fighter and I can't wait to see more of him in the future. The kids got charisma, class, and skill. Wow he's gonna do big things for boxing's future.

They are saying 10 rds. in the article and the fight went 9 rds. Also, they compare it to some other 12 rd. fights, meaning Juanma did even better than we thought. This answers the questions some people had about his chin, stamina, heart, etc. He is a BEAST!
