It was ****ing ******. Joe Calzaghe is 37 and retired. Carl Froch needs to shut his trap and carve his own path to being great. Forget Joe Calzaghe, do it without him and stop living in his shadow. He's getting like sad bastard Vitali calling out a 90 year-old fat version of Lewis.

Pavlik has deffense and picks off shots with his gloves. he counter punches and doesn't lung in from outside. it is different to be 1 dimensional and be good at one thing then be novice and lung in open with your hands down,. telegraph all your punches and leave your self off blance and in good punching angles for your opponent. Pavlik much > Froch..... Miranda = Froch....Lefty

I haven't seen the whole fight yet. I don't get Showtime. I was just joking though. Pavlik is one of my favorite fighters. Is Froch really that bad.?

I saw the last two rounds and Taylor was doing his typical ****. Leaving his left hand way down. I don't get why he does that.

If you see the first 8 rounds you will see what I am talking about he was fighting the same way the whole fight. he started finding some sucess with a looping right towards the last few rounds. But all in all Froch is a equal to Edison Miranda in my mind...Lefty

Apart from the comments saying that Taylor gassed and opened up and threw nothing.

Carl Froch also played a part, he became more comfortable, he found some range... Because he started off pretty badly and was nervous, but he kept using his jab and using looping rights where before he was hitting his glove.

Froch all though not very skilled was persistant and made the one sadjustment during the fight. he changed from throwing his jab straight right and lunging left u[pper cut from long range to throwing more of a looping right hand which found some sucess in the later rounds and attributed to his win. To say he is very skilled and a great fighter is reaching. He is novice in my mind and has a good chin good pucnh and determination....Lefty
