Was Froch the first person to officially knock down Taylor?

I know that Pavlik, and Froch both forced the stoppage, but was Froch the first person to genuinely knock Taylor down?

    I think so.

That's what the Showtime commentators said.

It's impressive that he has never been down before. You would think someone like Hopkins would have been able to do it.

Lacy had him over but it wasnt counted as a knockdown though Taylor looked hurt when he got up.

Maybe, except that Hopkins has one stoppage in his last 10 fights, and that was against DLH.
