why should he? there is almost no chance that he can hurt Mayweather and he is a lot smaller. If he takes the fight it will be the equivalent of a cab driver taking a dive for moolah.

I don't think this fight is going to happen. Expect to hear Marquez announcing a fight with someone else in the next couple of weeks

So why can't they agree on that?

144 is close to 147...so who is holding it up, Mayweather or JMM, think it is Floyd
          ..........Its has to be Floyd.

He's a great tuneup if you are planning to fight more lightweights at welterweight...I was referring to why JMM should not take the fight.

now you're talking.....jmm knows he's got very slim chance of beating floyd. he will take the fyt more because of the pay and of course hoping for that 'slim chance' to become a miracle. jmm is looking for a big payday and he cannot anchor his hope on the trilogy with manny....with enough money talk, jmm will go to 147 and hit the canvass at 3 the most........my crazy scenario, ok!!

If Hatton beats Pac, expect a Hatton/Marquez fight to be announced.

If Hatton beats Marquez, expect a global superstar.

Dang! It will be a hell of a fight if it pushes through.
Sad to say, if this fight wont happen, it will be a big blow to PBF.
He will left out cold, no one to fight... with his lifestyle, maybe he is close to scrubbing up the bottom of the barrel.
JMM, knows how to blow a big fight purse.
Just like he did before, settling for Chris John. LOL.

You would rather watch a Mayweather-Spinks fight? Really?
