It is see my the NEW best division of boxing thread, but does it really matter being boxing fans and all? As long as boxing is doing well, we should be happy.

Lot of new stars. Who knows what the P4P Rankings will be in the next 5-10 years? The point is boxing isn't going anywhere...its here to stay.

The Ring Magazine had Johnson ranked and Tarver ranked higher than him when he challenged him. ACCORDING TO RANKING, he fought who he had to to move up.

That's disgraceful? You spew all these alphabet titles, which follow ranking more then anything else. Yet, when Dawson plays along, it's disgraceful.

So, when one of the European fighters fight his manditory, will it be disgraceful that he is honoring that ranking system?

wow a lot of bias and bigoted hatred against european fighters in this thread. Could this be due to jealousy borne out of insecurity?
I seem to recall for the past few years incessant threads about how "Eurobums" are trash and how easily americans dominate them yet now that European fighters utterly own the boxing world, suddenly the same pill is too hard to swallow for everyone else.
Nothing but bitter envy and puerile jealousy. I find it incredibly ironic, hypocritical and hilarious the people that make fun of guys like Klitschko who have a 95% KO percentage and then go out of their way to prop up Dawson and Hopkins. Dawson has 4 UD wins out of his last 6 fights and Hopkins has 1 KO win out of his last 11 fights yet the Klitschkos continually KO their opponents brutally and put on a show. Like I said nothing but the envy of little children over the superior european fighters.

                      Really, your logic is ******ed.

You defend Wlad constantly when people label him "boring", or "overly defensive".

                      And rightfully so.

That opinion of Wladimir is completely fictional, and based solely off of a few boring, overly defensive performances against Ibragimov, Thompson, and Byrd.

Yet with Hopkins, who was also dominant and entertaining throughout his prime (1997-2004), you don't care to label him the same thing, due to a few boring fights against Wright, Calzaghe, and Eastman. (Past his prime in 2 of those 3 fights)

                      Hilarious.

The only difference is this : Hopkins' age is what forced him to adapt his defensive style and become a more technical fighter.

                      Why did Wlad?
