How good is Jean Pascal?

How good do you think Pascal is for going 12 rounds with Froch while taking big shots and losing a pretty close fight?

Although Taylor Knocked down and hurt Froch and Pascal didn't, Taylor got KO'ed and Pascal didn't, plain and simple.

I tip my hat off to both Taylor and especially Froch.

So how good is Jean Pascal?
and do you now think he can hang with the big boys at 168 since he gave Froch hell in their fight and Froch went on to KO Taylor?

I wouldn't mind a Pascal-Taylor fight since they both lost to Froch.

Not that good, taylor was beating froch on points while froch clearly out pointed pascal. And froch still doesn't look to be all that skillful, he looks more heart then anything.

You know that makes no ****ing sense since pascal doesn't even have a case since he clearly got out-pointed by Froch. While froch was losing to taylor before knocking him out in the 12th round.

I watched some substandard fighter named Omar Pittman repeatedly time, counter and hurt Pascal on ESPN one night... he started too late in a less than 12 round fight though, so he lost a decision.

It was damn embarrassing to see an undefeated prospect like Pascal get whipped into shape by a terrible fighter.

He's not very good is the point of that story.

Well, you're sort'a on to something but remember Taylor was winning the fight. They both put up a good enough fight to get a rematch.

Yeah but he won every single round up till the 8th or 9th and got caught moving his head straight back he was not whipped I remember many good fighters put in poor performance when they were younger against journeymen I watched a early Glen Johnson fight where he got caught with a punch similar to Pascal did and almost got knocked out and was in trouble the rest of the fight if someone had seen that fight they would have said Johnson was rubbish.
He wasn’t really outboxed by Froch in the first 5-6 rounds but he gassed out and that’s what cost him the fight Pascal only lost by one point on my card and it was a great fight so why not have a rematch, People seem to forget that young fighters actually improve so its always unfair to judge on one performance, In his last fight Pascal look excellent and although the opponent wasn’t great i think he has made some improvements, here is the knockout.
