Guys like Mundane and Kessler always fight bums, Calzaghe fought bums for 10 years so I think Froch should be entitled to an easy pay day, what do you think
Does Carl Froch deserve an "Easy" fight.

Taylor is a classy guy if he really said that in those quotes. Froch couldn't of fought a better fighter for his first defense so he should be rewarded with a gimmie if he choses to do so. -
Froch is 31 and just made a name for himself, he's not looking for easy fights. Froch wants the big fights now.Comment

Oh of course...
Anyone is entitled to take a nobody after a Taylor...
The reason Taylor is so highly regarded in my eyes is because he fought Wright immediately after his second fight against Hopkins... then two actually good 154 pounders, which were considered tune-ups, then Pavlik, which he got brutally KO'd... After that he took Pavlik AGAIN, lost again... instead of taking a 14-15 fighter or something like that, he took Lacy as a tune-up (damaged goods or not, a puncher like that after a Pavlik KO is more risk than I would have wanted), and now another puncher, undefeated champion in Froch.
But, then again, Taylor's resume is pretty much unmatched in the sport... Froch can still be respected if he doesn't do all that.
Let him fight a nobody.Comment

An easier fight yes. I'm not sure how many guys will be easy for Froch in a division as deep as 168 unless he fights outside of the top 10. Even Allan Green, another fighter I'm not high on, would give him a lot of problems. Green has legit home run power, I dont care how good Froch's chin is percieved to be.
That said, he deserves a fight in his backyard against a lesser opponent, but he better not make a habit out of it.Comment
