Although it was a competive fight and cong**** to Froch for his win last night, I think they both really exposed eachother's flaws. Taylor in the 1st part of the fight made Froch look really slow and 1 dimensional, and also even when Froch was in trouble the bad habit of keeping his hands low was present which needs to be corrected. Froch later in the fight affirmed what many didn't want to believe about Taylor, that being he is Zab like and can't fight for a full 12 rounds and can't finish a hurt opponent. I was seriously impressed with Allan Green on the under card. I think the Green from last night would have beaten both Froch and Taylor from last night, though this may have been somewhat of an optical illusion created by the level of Green's opposition last night. We will just have to wait and see how he does against better opponents. If anything with the flaws that were exposed in both Taylor and Froch last night, I can only come to the concusion that Kessler is still the best SMW at this point in time.....thoughts and opinions about Froch, Taylor, Green, and SMW division welcomed.
Did Froch and Taylor expose each other?

froch got exposed a little bit but taylor was already exposed, probably several times. This was the pavlik fight all over again. Stamina - taylor's biggest weakness. The blueprint to beat taylor was laid out by pavlik. Survive his early attack and continue to apply constant pressure, eventually he will wear out.
If you can do that you will beat taylor. The guys who didn't beat taylor aren't pressure fighters, they are all boxers or counter punchers. Hopkins for example didn't put enough pressure early enough, but if you recall hopkins damn near finished taylor late in the first fight. I think it was around round 11 taylor was really close to going down. -
Yeah this was exactly like the Pavlik fight in that he had Froch down and hurt and didn't get the job done, then paid for it by getting finished off himself. The strange this is on paper Taylor should be able to handily beat Froch or Pavlik.froch got exposed a little bit but taylor was already exposed, probably several times. I think Froch got more "exposed" we all knew that Taylor can only fight for 6rds. We didnt know how Froch`s style would do against a fast elite fighter. It was terrible imagine a stamina machine like Calzaghe in with what Froch had last night?Comment
-
because calzaghe has the power to hurt froch right.......Comment

Nothing to do with power. Taylor fought 1 minute of every round for 7 rounds.
His speed and Froch lack of defence ment Taylor was able to get to him enough to hurt him. Taylor was not a big puncher at 160 and infact never stopped anyone in a title fight.
Hit someone enough it will take its toll. Bute, Kessler and Calzaghe would have their way with Carl.
Put you house on it.Comment

Froch was exposed. He is vulnerable to right hands and his chin isn't what people thought it was. Yeah JT punches with bad intentions but being hurt and going down in 3 rounds doesn't exactly make you granite chin neither. As for Taylor, I think his stamina issues were already exposed in his past tests.Comment

No way Froch beats Calzaghe...not with Joe's hand speed and not at the pace he usually fights at.Comment

I was thinking the same thing during the fight -- Froch doesn't like a fast pace.
