it's a pellet rifle not a paintball gun.
i'd actually have a little more respect for him if it was a paintball gun.
dressing up in camouflage to go paintball shooting with your friends is quite normal.
dressing up in camouflage to look bad ass in a pic while holding up a pellet rifle is kinda sad tbh.Comment

That camo wearin fool doesn't represent all brits so b4 i comment im discounting anything that i have heard him post.
I believe that Froch's knockout was impressive but the win wasn't, he has shown that his chin isn't as granite as we all thought and that dropping his hands will eventually cost him his title.
Now on to the original statement that Americans hate it when a UK fighter beats there guys.....thats the same for any country. If an american beat a UK fighter i would hate it, if a french guy beat a UK guy i would hate it, its called being patriotic. I for one am proud that froch is a world champ, that Haye and Kahn have the chance to become a world champs and that Hatton is the 'ring' champ and has managed to get another shot at a p4p number 1. When u think about it our country is so small we shouldn't really be producing as many talents as we do.
Come on you BritsComment

I've also fired a .44 and that's a nice weapon but my aim wasn't too good.
I also fired my friend's .25 but I don't think it even put a hole in the old license plate I shot with it.
I was thinking maybe a .357 a 40 caliber, or perhaps a Glock but I know they are pricey.
It's been so long, I will probably ask your advice.
I figure maybe I will go the range and screw around for a while to see if a gun purchase would be the thing for me being a commie leftie and all.Comment

Ok, I have fired three guns in my life. A Mac 11, kind of reminded me of an old video camera back in the 80'S, I couldn't hit **** with it. But the spray was cool. The thing is the technology didn't seem to be too impressive.

.44's are very easy to shoot. you just have to get used to it. people flinch when shooting it because they're anticipating the recoil.
i suggest getting a .40. perfect compromise between a 9mm and .45. some studies suggest it's more effective than both actually in one shot stopping percentages.
go find a target range that rents out guns first. so you can decide on what caliber you're most comfortable with. the caliber you shoot the most accurately with would be best for self defense. a hit with a .22 is better than a miss with a .45.
as far as pricing goes. you don't have to spend a lot to get a good gun. there's a lot of cheap but high quality guns made in brazil , philippines and spain. the quality is top of the line but the price is cheaper because of lower manufacturing costs and they don't spend millions advertising and promoting their guns like glock , colt and smith and wesson does.Comment
