Is Jermain Taylor a bad finisher in your opinion?

I kind of think he is, he had both Froch and Pavlik in trouble a couple of times in their fight and he just doesn't know how to finish a fighter when he gets them hurt. It's bizarre in both of those fights he made both Froch and Pavlik look so one dimensional but then it seems he gasses out for whatever reason and then gets beat to a pulp.

Oh my god... he's terrible.

He wings his punches terrible after he gets a guy down, or, like last night, he just didn't punch after Froch got up.

He's definitely one of the worst finishers in boxing, hands down.

I've heard many a times that he doesn't have the killer instinct, this was brought up after the Pavlik defeat.

I know I'm biased because I was rooting for Taylor, but I still don't see anything special in Pavlik or Froch. More froch then Pavlik because Pavlik atleast showed somewhat a defense keeping his guard up at times. Froch looks like some fool who would get ko'd by hopkins easily.

Off the top of my head... only Judah is worse that I can think of.

He ONLY wings his punches and smothers himself after he hurts someone...

It's a miracle he was able to finish Cory Spinks off in the rematch.

No he isnt a bad finisher, He just doesnt have enough power in his punches to KO guys after putting them down, They seem to be momentarily hurt by him but not enough for them to be KO, If he hits harder then they would be KO
