i bet you never said he was a hype job, and i bet you thought he was great... and your just trying to act smarti've always said from the get go, that taylor was a hype job, protected by hbo to be groomed into the next star. i personally think that taylors mojo was taken from hopkins, even though taylor got the wins, i think he wasn't the same after their fights. the intensity isnt there and his focus was never the same after fighting hopkins. when he faced pavlik, i think that pavlik put up the resistance that finally broke taylors already tattered will. there is a lot more to draw upon but to sum it up, i think that hopkins planted the seed, the fights leading to the pavlik fight were watering that seed and it went into full bloom when pavlik fought taylor the first time. i thought taylor did good the second fight but not enough to win.
taylor needs regroup and i think find another trainer, someone who will guide him with the right fight strategy...........Comment

its stamina. Look at him when he goes down, he's tired to the point where he can't defend himself or throw punches because he's spent. For anyone that has actually boxed you know for a fact that if your stamina isn't up to par, you will get beat by a lesser opponent, unless you manage to get the KO.

All it takes is one hard shot to get through, and the floodgates were open.
Froch and Pavlik can punch like mules. They can miss all night but it only takes one.
I mean those two have very high ko percentages and plenty of one punch ko's.Comment

Taylor is a very good boxer. His stamina is poor and it was obviously one of the reasons he lost yesterday. But I think the stamina problems stem from his lack of desire for the sport... He doesn't like the training, he doesn't like the fighting and, unfortunately, it it seems he no longer has the heart to be a champion. I hope I'm wrong because he has the ability to beat fighters like Froch and he can still be one of the top guys at 160-168.Comment

He seems to give up and forget any kind of a game plan once the heat is on. He has stamina and confidence issues that limit him. He controlled that fight from the onset ad could not close it out when he had Froch down. Froch got lucky that he was in the ring with someone who doubts himself. Pavlik or Calzaghe would have put him away early.I think he was always mentally week...It just took the ghost to bring to everybody's attention.
Remember before he fought Bhop they asked him if he was ready to take on the champ....he said no and he didnt know if he was ready...or something along those lines...
Thats the first time I started to believe he wasn't cut out of the right cloth.Comment
