I am not so sure about this thread. I see the names and I see a really good level of competition and all those guys Pac fought (save for DLH) went down in these fights so an early ko isn't out the realm of possibility.

If it's a firefight right from the get go, it could be an early night for either guy, ala Hagler-Hearns.

Both trainers are talking it. Makes me think both guys will just bring it from first round without much of a feeling out process.

Namely, marquez and the first MAB fight. For sure.

The versions of Erik and Oscar that he beat are not better than Hatton.

NO, I totally agree. Paco's got some flaws and he can be touched. But i don't think Hatton will be able to catch him though. Hatton's got power yes, and one shot can hurt Paco...BUT i think Paco's too fast for Hatton.

          Here's an interesting question:

Is Hatton possibly the fastest fighter that Pac has faced?

Nobody says that he is superman. Its just that he is very likely to beat Hatton. Thats all. If he is ever going to fight with Mayweather or Cotto, nobody is going to say "HES GONNA KTFO!!!!!!"

Doesn't really have to do with the unhealthy reality of De La Hoya entering the ring catabolic and a pound lighter than Pacquaio. Or how the subsequent beatdown is being used as a measuring stick of Pacquiao's chances against Hatton.
