How do you rate Jean Pascal?

After Taylor's performance last night i was wondering what people think about Pascal, I know ACHlLLES doesn't rate Pascal at all but i think he is a good fighter he took bombs of Froch all night and was never hurt and came within just 1 point on my card of beating Froch, He is fighting for the Light Heavyweight title next and if he wins that i would love to see a rematch against Froch at some point.

Pascal is just behind the leading pack, with the talent to get up there.

jean pascal is a sound fighter but i was surprised by his inability to overcome frochs jab, he was doing better when they were brawling and he was able to throw good powerful combo's. another example of his inexperience is when facing pittman, pittman struggled with the speed of pascal but when he began timing him he had more success, he even had pascal in trouble at one point. pascal should have been feinting and working behind the jab, imo hes a little bit green.

the guy fought at a good pace in the froch fight and still looked strong in the later rounds, his conditioning is good, he has a good chin, hes a big guy with good speed, strength and power.

imo he needs someone to teach him the finer arts of the sweet science, feinting, jabbing, mixing up his punches, more body work and his defense needs some tweaking as well. but he is a good fighter and could be come a great one.

I think Pascal rolled with a lot of punches. Plus Froch had an elbow injury when he fought Pascal which restricted him from punching as hard as he can.

Ive seen Pascal hurt by a journeyman.

no he didn't he blocked most. i guess british people don't pay attention to where the punches are actually landing they just pay attention to punches thrown. hence thinking calzaghe beat hopkins.
