ROFLMAO. You have just pulled the lamest excuse, ever.

Fine. Give me the name of five fighters from the U.K. that have a chance at beating one of the guys on the list I gave you. Then, I'll make a poll and see if people from all sides of the pond agree with you.

    That's fair, isn't it? ;]

    FLAME.

I always thought you were British J.B., how come you're such a fan of British boxing?

no, polls on NSB are always horribly biased towards fat yanks. You guys are always pulling extra numbers on us.

            But, of course, that's different.

It is sad when a Yank can't be considered a fan of British boxing by your standards.

On it's knees, and still head and shoulders above the Brits.

                No flames. Just fact.
Given that the USA has a population about four times that of the UK, your list looks quite proportional to me.

If both territories were of the same population level, you could make that kind of comparison, but they aren't.

It's like saying that just because countries like China/Taiwan who manufacture most of the products you see in your house means that those products are superior just because they produce more than a smaller country with a smaller amount of factories.

I'm not saying that UK boxing > US boxing, but I don't think that comparison works.

Didn't Hatton state that the only belt which matters is the Ring Belt?

It's not that bad! I expect Dawson, Bradley and Williams in particular to all be dominating their divisions (several, probably, in PW's case) in a couple of years time, all are class acts and exciting to watch to boot. I can't understand why Williams isn't more popular, he's a potential ATG in my opinion. Pavlik is set at MW, as long as he doesn't have delusions of moving up with the same success.

The one thing America really needs is serious HW contender or two to seize the public imagination, particularly if Haye rather than the brothers K turns out to be the target... what a show that would be! At the moment, though I just don't think you have one. Maybe Arreola will surprise me, though, it he finally sets his mind.. and training regime.. to it. Flab-buckets just don't win HW titles any more.

Population is only one factor to look at. Check out PR or Mexico for example.
