Even though I agree Vasquez and Marquez probably won't be the same ever again. I mean it's possible after the **** they put themselves through that they might be extremely tender now, but I still think Izzy can take Lopez. Just as long as Izzy's camp pulls a Freddie Roach and makes sure they're there to see Lopez wrap his hands, I think Izzy will be alright.

But on the plus side for Izzy and Raf, they've takin a huuuuge break. Which is great, cause it gives em time to heal properly.

if you make weight well then you make weight. JuanMa hasn't shown issues at making 122 so therefore I have no issues with him being and calling out the best at that division

and yes I am sure JuanMa does know both Rafa and Izzy are mending from the wars they put on each other but I think he realizes without them then he has no big money fights so he is trying to coax them into fighting which is ok

I do also think he would be all wrong for Luevano because Steve wouldn't have anything to keep him away. To me a faded 122lb Izzy stands a better chance than a prime 126lb Luevano

Why they are labeled the best of the best and what is wrong with cleaning out a division before moving up in weight? Most fightersnow move up to avoid fighting certain fighters not stay to try to fight them and prove themselves best at that weight class. he is big for the weight but Penelosa was also small for the weight.
